Travel Deposits & Policies for Your Alaskan Wilderness Adventure

Touring the Alaskan Bush in the Brooks Range or Southwest is sure to be packed with plenty of wildlife adventures, whether you get to see polar bears or just realize that the cold of Alaska is packed with more life than you thought. Tundra River Adventures of Roseville, California, strives to ensure that everyone has a good time and that we all remain comfortable and enjoy ourselves. To that end, we do require travel deposits, and there are some policies you'll need to follow.

Deposits and Cancellations

A deposit of $300 is due at time of reservation, $100 of which is non-refundable. If you must cancel, your deposit and any payments will be refunded with notification to us at least 120 days prior to departure less the $100 administrative fee. With 90-119 days of notice of cancellation, all but your deposit will be refunded. With less than 90 days' notice, 50% of your trip price is not refundable. We are targeting a base trip price of $3000, which is the average price of past trips. At 120 days prior to trip departure, 25% of targeted cost is due ($750), from 89 to 30 days prior to the trip departure date, 50% of targeted cost is due ($1500). At 29 days or fewer prior to trip departure, 100% of targeted cost of $3000 is due and is non-refundable. Full payment is due at time of booking for trips booked less than 30 days in advance of trip date.

The targeted cost is only an estimate. The final trip cost will be calculated when the trip is completed and divided equally among participants. We have never had a trip go over $3600 per person.


Policies

Tundra River Adventures cannot be held responsible for cancellations or delays due to weather, unsafe river or landing strip conditions, cancellations or delays from airline or air taxis, or any last minute changes to the fishing regulations by Alaska Department of Fish & Game. Tundra River Adventures reserves the right to cancel a trip at any time for any reason. Sometimes we have to change the river we go to for one of the reasons mentioned above. You may want to purchase travel insurance before coming on your trip.
